Canada Geese are a problem this year.
People have asked so: geese are not generally a problem. This year, I’m having to stop almost daily for geese landing on the road in front of me. They land with about the same grace as a defrosted turkey shot out of a cannon at a low angle.
I think the city is doing something to drive them out of the parks this year, so they are going everywhere else. I’ve certainly never had one on my third floor deck (plus two parking levels below) before.
Probably they’ll reduce the population (I think they’re messing with the eggs?) and next year it’ll be normal again.
